Digital Compositing Study: Supernatural Eye Replacement

Digital Compositing Study: Supernatural Eye Replacement

Project Overview:
-A technical study in high-end character transformation and look-development using NukeX.

Key Technical Tasks:

-Ocular Replacement: Integrated blue cat-eye assets into a human socket, matching the specular highlight (catchlight) angle to the original light source for physical accuracy.

-Vascular Detail: Composited custom blood vessel textures into the sclera to ground the supernatural shift in anatomical reality.

Look-Dev: Performed a targeted skin-tone grade to create a "pale/horror" aesthetic while preserving original plate texture and grain.

-Tracking: Hard-locked planar tracking on the face during a high-intensity scream.

Software: NukeX, DaVinci Resolve

Final Composited Shot: Supernatural Eye Replacement and Skin Look-Dev. Handled tracking, masking, and specular light matching for the 10-second scream.

NukeX Node Graph: Structured workflow focusing on separate branches for Face Grading, Ocular Replacement, and Vascular detail. Organized with backdrops for pipeline readability.
